Hayloft Cottage

We enjoyed our stay at Hayloft Cottage. I was surprised at the number of self catering cottages at the location as I thought there were only two. There is a lack of parking spaces for the amount of people catered for. The cottage itself was nice but the second bedroom is small for two people and there is little storage in it. The kitchen was well stocked but there was no room to keep food in the cupboards.

Overall good enough for a short stay, the place is obviously run and managed really well. Positive: Good space, clean and well equipped, ideal location. Negative: Bed too small (feet hanging over the end as I am 6ft tall). Shower not ideal for anyone over 5.7 due to low ceiling and beam running through it. Freezer is very loud (had to turn it off).

Positive: Nice comfortable lovely grounds well kept would visit again without a doubt

Great location with good facilities Negative: height of shower in bathroom was too low Walk to Bamburgh was not that friendly as had to keep lifting dogs over, kissing gate would be better
