The Duchess

We just loved it, we will be booking again! Positive: The property is in a wonderful location, just lovely, with dedicated parking. The inside was very comfortable, extremely well appointed and very well set out. There was a hot tub, tennis courts, ping pong room and gym. Negative: Nothing!

Great house, rooms nice and comfortable, the kitchen area had everything you would ever need. Lovely situation, and Bamburgh is a little stroll away. We had good weather and were able to spend time in the hot tub. Will be going back to stay again

We had a lovely stay at this house for a Friendsmas Christmas. The house had everything we needed. Beds very comfortable and showers good. Couldn’t find a remote for the centre light above the island. Would have liked a few extra keys

Wow, what can I say a group of 8 ladies for our weekend away. The Duchess is an impressive cottage, the space and facilities are amazing, from the under floor heating and log fireplace to the fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The bedrooms were very spacious and really comfortable, the mattresses were clearly really good quality. We had a private chef to the property which had everything he needed to cook with. The other facilities on site were great too. The only thing was that the hot tub didn’t fit all 8 of us but this wasn’t a problem for us, the outdoor table and chairs were great and with fabulous weather was an added bonus. The welcome pack was a really lovely touch. We will definitely be back. Great experience all round
