Fabulous house in a wonderful location - ideal spot for weekend away! Everything needed to make a memorable stay, and fantastic communication throughout - highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

We had a really lovely weekend at Spindlestone House and would definitely recommend it. The house is a great size, perfect for a group, and worked really well for us all. It was actually a surprise trip for my mum and she absolutely loved it, which made it even more special. The communication from North East Escapes was spot on from start to finish, and when we had a small issue with the TV, they came out quickly and got it sorted which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a great stay and made some lovely memories there. Would happily return 😊 - The Apple Inn in Lucker is a great place to eat, dogs welcome !

A delightful house in a beautiful setting. Ample space for 10, hot tub lots of fun and the effort into the information, treats etc all noted. We had a smashing weekend!

A great meeting place for our extended family. Lovely enclosed garden for the dogs, sociable kitchen with breakfast bar for sipping aperitifs while someone cooks and a lovely fireplace in the cosy lounge. Thermostatic heating was very responsive for boosts after blustery wet walks and the water pressure in the main bathroom excellent. An interesting property with some lovely features and some antique furniture and art. The hot tub was excellent, very clean and serviced daily. A couple of our queries were deal with immediately. The different garden spaces would be great in warmer weather and for independent children to play in. There is a games room with ping pong, darts and pool and 3 other houses on the site to rent as a big group. Parking for 5 cars for Spindlestone house .

Great weekend, well worth the adventure! Minor issues as detailed above would help. Positive: Acres of space. Lovely outdoor area and hot tub to enjoy along with the games room. Plenty of space for a large family gathering. Welcome pack was a nice touch. Great location and very good information booklets which were helpfull. Wifi and TV coverage throughpout the house was excellent. Heating worked well when needed.l Negative: Games room was not the cleanest and lighting was a little poor. Oven needs to be upgraded as it was not the best.
