St Aidans Cottage

Positive: Perfect location for Bamburgh castle, lovely little walk, rooms were clean and comfortable, a tad on the small size for tall people but ok for a short stay, Negative: Could do with its own hottub as shared one is not ideal when a large family with children arrived and took over the tub, conservatory was full of flies which was very annoying, table tennis room could do with a good clean, coupd not find the tennis rackets,

Wonderful reunion in a great location. Positive: Perfect location. Really peaceful. Wonderful accommodation with a really well equipped kitchen. The towels were huge and fluffy! Thoughtful gestures of tea and coffee and cookies. Games. Books. And the conservatory dining room is fabulous. We spent all our time in there. Negative: Would have loved some sun loungers and comfortable outdoor chairs as it was so hot!

Great stay it was just what we needed. Very peaceful and views were fantastic Positive: Well equipped , great location. Negative: We thought hot tub was with property but it was communal. This wasn’t suitable my husband is having chemotherapy at moment so can’t mix which is why we booked the private property. The property took a while to warm luckily there was wood burner.

Positive: Picturesque and quiet location.

This was our second stay at Dukesfield as we were in the Stable Cottage in July, and now St Aidans cottage. We love the cottages. They are well equipped and spacious. Shower and bed was great! Appreciated the large and good quality towels too. The hot tub is a great bonus. Only thing not point out, is there is no oven gloves/mitt for the oven and this would be useful. Two of the chairs are saggy and uncomfortable in the conservatory. I would happily return and hope so, soon! We love the cottages and space! The private garden was ideal for our dog too.
