Great location but try and book one of their newer properties as they are probably great. Positive: Great location near Bamburgh. Liked the hot tub which was maintained daily. Tennis court was good. Property was clean. Negative: It is worn. Furniture is looking tatty and old It was clearly very nice when it was first done but feel like it needs a bit of investment. So many comments from last year in the visitor book saying the same thing. Mattresses on beds very poor

Fabulous stay

What a fantastic cottage in the middle of a beautiful part of the world. The view from the conservatory could be sold for a fortune as it is just stunning. The facilities were great and we made use of the table tennis, the tennis court and the hot tub. Yes, the chairs in the conservatory were a little bit worn but the ones outside in the little garden where the comfiest garden chairs I’ve ever sat on and I even ordered some for myself. We will be back again and thank you so much.

Great location and amenities

We were a party of 4 adults, 2 children and a dog, staying for 4 nights in May. Pros: Great secluded location just outside of Bamburgh, good for dog-walking, lots of extra amenities including tennis and table-tennis, children's play area, hot tub and pods. The cottage has a spacious conservatory with lovely views over the fields and garden. Plenty of heat on demand from the CH system. There are board games and puzzles in the cupboard if required. Cons: A couple of kitchen appliances were found to be rather dangerous during our stay - the kettle lid was broken and prone to falling off when pouring, and the timer on the toaster did not 'count down' leading to charcoaled toast on a few occasions and potentially a fire risk if not switched off - both appliances need replacing. Also the hot water was scalding - the thermostat setting should be turned down. Overall a very enjoyable stay, would recommend.

Enjoyable Positive: Lovely views, good position to Bamburgh, nice to have the hot tub, pretty courtyard/garden. Good sized table to sit around in conservatory Negative: Kitchen a little small. On the expensive side compared to the properties my relatives stayed in nearby.
