Budle Newton Cottage

Firstly, we couldn't find the cottage. A new/ better sign would be helpful for guests. Otherwise, a really beautiful location. close to the beach and castles. We liked Bamburgh too. All the rooms could do with a deep clean or a regular clean for the price as it wasn't cheap The hot tub & the billiards table were great for the teenagers in our family. We loved the living space. thank you

Very pleasant and great location but missing small things already noted. Positive: Location and space! Negative: Very little amount or not at all essentials for cooking/kitchen (salt, sugar, oil, fairy liquid, dish washer tablets, etc). The dishwasher didn't clean properly. And some of the cutlery, china and glasses were not clean when we arrived. The house was not pristine clean either.

The cottage was great, and the views over the bay and across to Lindisfarne were amazing. It was just as described and the little extras were a nice touch. It was a perfect place to celebrate a special family birthday and we didn't have to drive far to find lots of things to do, although staying at the cottage was also just so nice. We all enjoyed our stay very much and hope to be back sometime.

Absolutely idyllic location and with huge amounts of living space, our family of 7 never felt on top of one another due to the layout. The pool table and hot tub are perfect to keep the kids (and adults) entertained. The kitchen comes supplied with everything you could need with the added bonus of the Aga cooker and the welcome good bag was a perfect touch! We shall definitely be booking again for next year!

Great house in a stunning spot. Loved our short stay with great facilities and added bonus extras like the rounds of golf. Stunning part of the world
