Grove Cottage

Great location with access to all amenities close by. Property was clean and tidy and easily accommodated the eight members of our family. The provision of a welcome pack was very helpful providing the essentials. (Don’t forget to collect your sausages from the butcher next door….. they were exceptional). Easy access to Seahouses via coastal path which is located nearby. Great place to stay and would thoroughly recommend.

The location of this property is wonderful. Sandwiched between the butchers and the Victoria Hotel, and a very short walk to the beach, pubs, deli and gift shop. We stayed out of season so it was quiet and parking outside the rental was easy. The property itself is a good size (there were 8 of us and 2 dogs). The kitchen was well equipped and the living and dining areas were a good size. The master bedroom is large and roomy. We had to clean the pots and pans before use, a minor oversight I presume as the rest of the house was clean. The only problems we encountered were the showers that are weak powered electric ones. Time for an upgrade. North East Escapes were excellent. Sorting minor issues promptly and I would not hesitate to use the company again.

Centrally located on Front Street ideally placed between the Victoria Hotel and Carter’s Butchers and a few doors away from the Middle Inn, Grove Cottage is the perfect place to stay in Bamburgh. Offering four bedrooms with two en-suite plus a good sized bathroom, the house also has a good sized lounge and dining room with compact enclosed yard to the rear. Good quality WiFi, Netflix and an array of board games is included and the house is well heated for cold winter nights.

Great location and house was spacious and in good condition. Would certainly use it again.
