Babbling Burn Cottage

Positive: Property was in very good condition and very well appointed. Landlord was very considerate with a welcome pack and plenty of logs and firelighters for the log burner were provided. Negative: There was nothing that we didn't like. Only criticism is that the parking space was tight for a large cars like ours.

A relaxing few days and a good central position for Bamburgh, Seahouses and Surrounding areas. Positive: New facilities, quiet location, well equipped and plenty of entertainment Negative: No enclosed garden for the dogs, a bit too small for 4 adults, the downstairs bedroom was really for children, settee was hard

If you want to experience a real getaway, this is the place for you. Fantastic facilities, everything has been thought of including a free pound of sausages. Generous welcome pack, good supply of logs and warm and cosy. Lovely location , close to places whilst still being remote. The team at Northern Escapes are professional and efficient. A total five star experience. We absolutely loved it! Thank you

Really enjoyed our stay. Many positives - comfortable and well equipped; good showers; loved the dressing room off the upstairs bedroom; very clean; in a good, quiet situation ideal for visiting Northumberland Room for improvement - no instructions for heating; inaccurate information for location and for WiFi; issues with towel rails. None of the negatives would stop us from staying again. When alerted to the problem with towel rails, the company sent a maintenance man and matter was quickly resolved.
