Almost perfect traditional cottage west of Prudhoe Positive: It's a beautiful traditional cottage surrounded by the old buildings of Hindley Hall. Nice location. We'd love to come back. Almost everything was perfect, the rooms, cleanliness, facilities, hospitality, so why not a perfect 10? Negative: There's only very little to complain about. For us it was mainly the double bed, which was too small for two tall adults. I'm 6.4. There's room enough in the bedroom so it could be wider. The toilet seat was "underwhelming" :) very cheap looking and feeling. And the lights above the cooker didn't work. It's just a details, but that's what makes it a very good 9.

Very comfortable property and great value. Positive: Great property with cosy sitting room and well-equipped kitchen. Negative: The parking spaces were slightly difficult to access for our larger car when both spaces were in use....not a big deal though, just lots of turning the wheel and 'back and forth' to get the right angle.
