The Orchard

The issues mentioned above were minor for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our break. Positive: Beautiful property in a peaceful location. Negative: I think it is worth mentioning that the TV reception was quite erratic as at times; the screen froze and it just kept spoiling!!! This didn’t affect us too much, but some people may find it difficult. Maybe it’s because the house is in a remote reception area? We also felt that for a property offering accommodation for 8 (we were 7) supplying just two bin bags was insufficient.

Well maintained, clean, modern property would highly recommend Positive: Quiet location, great directions from host. Local products left as a welcome gift, great to be able to a tea or coffee after a night shift locally. Negative: Nothing, great experience and property.

Great location, needs more attention to detail with cleaning. Positive: The location and size of the property were fantastic. Beautiful grounds with lots of nature around. The log burner is really cosy! Negative: The house wasn’t the cleanest, there were lots of cobwebs throughout, the bins were left dirty upon our arrival. The floor in the kitchen had rubbish in the corners and the shower in the en suite was pretty grubby, also some cups and cutlery still had food remains stuck to them. Also communication when we’ve asked questions weren’t very prompt at all, so if we’d had a problem then it’s already be solved before receiving a response.

Amazing stay at a stunning and spacious house. Positive: The Orchard is a stunning house, beautifully appointed with 4 good bedrooms, the main one was huge with an en-suite and the family bathroom was fabulous. The kitchen, dining and living rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Grounds were also beautiful. A quiet and peaceful space. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Thank you.
