Minnow’s Rest

great stay, lovely compact apartment close to everything. Positive: Great location, well equipped, clean, comfy bed, nice modern decor. nice touches re filter coffee & biscuits. Negative: Nothing not to like, although entrance to house,car park.bit tight.

First Northumberland stay. Positive: It was clean and in a really good spot right next to the harbour ,had everything you needed for a few days stay. Negative: Could do with more comfortable seating and fitting sheet for the bed ,apart from that everything was great .

Would stay again if discounted and would recommend. Host was attentive to communication. Positive: No breakfast provided. Seating area was small and not comfy. Clean and nice location. Neighbours dogs barked throughout. Park description was accurate. Negative: See above

Perfect location for a short seaside summer stay. Positive: It has a very central location, perfect for walking to the town and the harbour. Has its own parking, which is ideal. Great size for two people. Negative: The sofa was very small, so on a rainy day there isn’t a lot of space to sit comfortably as the two of you. We also didn’t have the dining table as was in the photos, so had to sit on the sofa. Also needed a door mat, as we brought mud inside from the court yard on our shoes, but there was no where to wipe this off, so was walked in and then every time we went to the bathroom.

We had a lovely relaxing stay in Minnows Rest and we would book again. Positive: Minnows Rest was centrally located in a peaceful part of Seahouses and had private parking. This meant we could access beaches, sea trips and restaurants without moving the car. A real bonus! The property was spotless and well equipped. Negative: A hook in the bathroom for a dressing gown / shower kit would be useful.
