Had a good time in alnwick. The property had a few issues which needed attention. I emailed them early morning and all issues were resolved within 3 hours. Really excellent service. The accommodation is very good. Well done North East Escapes.

Great apartment, great location Positive: Lovely spacious apartment which has everything you need for a stay and plenty of space even for two couples. It's right in the centre of Alnwick - the grey entrance door is between a vape shop and a pet shop but the sitting area with tv is at the front, the kitchen in the middle and the bedrooms at the back so it's quiet. Parking outside is free from 6pm, disc parking from 8am for two hours. There's a brilliant chippy and ice cream shop two doors away and a very good curry house just across the road in the market square. There's a mini supermarket close by too. Lovely little town and very handy for the coast and other attractions. Negative: The bed was a bit firm but that was all.

Very basic apartment in a perfect central location. Positive: The location is definitely the highlight for this property. Negative: Unfortunately we didn’t find the beds were comfortable at all. Very low quality mattresses and bedding.

Positive: Location was very convenient. Fully equiped kitchen. Clean, open plan. Very close to walk to gardens and castle. Easy access to property, parking availbe at the front ("free" but need disc purchase in shops for 1 pound), more parking at the rear (free 24h and no disc required). Negative: Some squeaky noises of the wooden floor can be heard in quiet hours when people in upper apartment moved about. I think, it comes with the property type. Was a bit diffucult to fall asleep on 1st night, but this is due to building is 400 year old - no complaints.
