Coastal Retreat

Lovely stay, in a beautiful peaceful area.kit Positive: Location excellent. Very quiet and peaceful. Negative: Value for money. Very expensive for what it provides.

Excellent Positive: Location is faultless, accommodation spot on Negative: The complimentary wine was a nice touch, shame it wasn't great to drink.

Coastal break Positive: Over looking a beautiful stretch of the Northumberland Coast, with amazing stretches of secluded sandy beaches within easy walking distance, this made for an ideal base for our long weekend break. The apartment was spacious and well presented, with a nice balcony looking out to sea. Attached to the Fishing Boat Inn, with its superb Sea Food restaraunt our first evening meal was a treat. It was a dissapointment to find the restaraunt doesn't'open on Sunday or Monday evenings. Beakfasts were all served in the restaraunt and were excellent. They were made all the better by the amazing setting, sat looking out to the beach which was teeming with bird life and the odd seal popping its head up. Binoculurs are a must. Negative: Shame pub/restaraunt was closed Sunday night and Monday.
