Newton House Annex

We loved our stay at Newton House Annex, the location was brilliant, a short walk to the beach and not too for to Seahouses and Beadnell too. The cottage itself was well equipped and spacious and very clean. My favorite part was the private garden which was perfect for relaxing. We had a problem with getting the heating working but someone came out to help very quickly. To note there are 3 steps down to the cottage and 1 big step down into the kitchen.

We love Northumberland and wanted a property close to the beach and in the Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh area. Newton House Annex fitted perfectly and lived up to expectations. It has the impression of being a new rental property. The property has been fitted to a high standard and was only missing a few items such as a floor broom or vacuum cleaner. Otherwise, kitchen equipment, TV, hot water etc worked flawlessly and appliances easy to use There is an extensive selection of guide and other books but noting on the local area which seemed a bit strange. Nevertheless, we had printed out several local walks and left these in a folder for future guests. We liked especially the enclosed garden that is very quiet and private (BBQ would have been nice ?) and just 10 minute walk to the beach was what we wanted with our dog. Overall a brilliant stay and well done to North East Escapes and the property owners

Clean, modern, well laid out with a beautiful walled garden less than 10 mins walk thru the dunes direct to a choice of two beaches!

Over priced compared to other places we have stayed. No complaints but not value for money Positive: Clean and adequate Negative: No view
