Riverview Cottage

All in all we loved our stay in Riverview, and certainly hope to return another time. Positive: Loved the location and the views over the river. Good on site parking and easy access to town facilities and beach. Cottage very celan, well maintained and comfortable with a real home from home feel. My youngest grandchild loved the fact he could see the ducks on the river from the conservatory.The little hamper of wine, milk, tea, coffee and biscuits were also very welcoming on arrival. Negative: It wasnt difficult to realise the cottage is obviously a haven for dog owners, and there were lovely quirky little add ons which endorsed this. Whilst not a dog owner myself, I am certainly not overt to sharing my space with one, as my elder daughter has dogs of her own. However, this holiday we had no dogs with us, just 2 grand children aged 11yrs and 22mths. It would have helped enormously to have the facility of a high chair in the kitchen, and my only other little foible was everytime we entred into the kitchen from the outside back door we were met with a faint smell of dog, but only in the kitchen area, so I wondered if this smell was just a linger from the last let. All in all we loved our stay, and would certainly return another time.
