Everything we needed. Superb location. Very clean. Agents were excellent. Would definitely return. Positive: Excellently placed and super clean, everything you need and great outdoor space for a pooch Negative: Staircase was interesting…narrow, steep, spiral...but did get used to it. Would have been super helpful to have a map in advance of which holiday cottage and how to find it-tricky to find at first.

Positive: Wooler is a lovely place with easy access to lovely walks and places of interest. The property is clean and comfortable and well located just a shame it is so close to the main road. Negative: Unfortunately we visited when the weather was very warm. The upstairs bedroom was like a sauna! A small fan had been provided to mitigate but wasnt nearly enough for such a large room. Linhope is within a few feet of the main A road through Wooler. Traffic noise is awful. The house quite literally shakes when the lorries go past at all times of day and night. Sitting outside in the little garden isnt peaceful due to the constant noise. Also worth noting that the advert for this property still indicates that The Tankerville Arms is open but it is very much closed.

Linhope barn conversation accommodation is the perfect base to explore Northumberland. Positive: Linhope barn conversion in Wooler, Northumberland (one bedroom accommodation) is absolutely excellent. Lovely modern apartment. Kitchen area with all mod cons. Comfortable living area and nice outside patio. Up the spiral staircase to the bedroom and shower room and toilet. All modern throughout. What's not to like? Ten, fifteen minute walk up into the town centre, where there are several pubs and excellent restaurants. Highly recommend this accommodation. Negative: Nothing.
